Aku dah submit application to continue my studies to a local university. Hopefully they consider and accept my proposal (the tajuk agak pelik?!). Getting them to accept is one thing, getting financial support is another thing (the fees is not too bad ya know, it’ll be better if granted a scholar). All I hope  now is… ambik lah aku please…

This is my Dell Latitude D410 powered by Windows XP Pro, Intel’s Pentium 1,73GHz, 504MB RAM. Not mine actually, given by my department. I’ve been using this laptop since 2004 until now without any major problems (typical minor problems though). It never let me down, well basically I’ve been using it for calibration & dyno purposes other than those normal office work like Words & Excels. Plus with all the travelings I did last year with this laptop.  After using it for nearly 5 years now, I’d say its a nice laptop. The thing is with my department, they won’t replace (upgrade) your laptop unless the laptop rosak. Two of my engineers dah pakai those wide screen high speed duo processor laptops but me still with this one… but I don’t mind at all seriously tapi kalau dia orang bagi, ambik je la!!!

Thanks to Mr.Haidi for this wonderful gift, a  mini 1/10th scale of the 1972 Toyota Celica by ABC HOBBY. Just got it today but I dont know when I will be doing this shell, but definitely after I’ve completed my 1:1 Celica, heheheh! Well, all I can say is,  I was amazed and its good! Imagine all the time all of us tutup mata takut terkejut etc Muauhahahaha! I think this movie gives me the creeps when they show how the mayat woke up, lembaga hitam passing by, perempuan rambut panjang, hantu terbang, hantu tidur sebelah, etc… all those yang aku rasa memang menakutkan. Plus how they put it with the make-up, background music, lighting, etc. Worth my time & money to watch!

Today, aku pegi lepak dengan few friends of mine just to discuss on my engine transplant. Of all the engines available in the market, I’ve filtered down to two engines, its either 4AGE or 12A.

Both have pros & cons. I believe the 4AGE 16v has more strong points in terms of fuel consumption, parts availability and reliability. 4AGE is common right?! …with all the KEs & KPs running on the road with quad-throttle 4AGE, such typical.

Now, Mazda’s 12A rotary engine is something different!!! The 12A rotary engine has more strong points of being unique & engine performance.  Well ramai yang cakap 12A is  something interesting to see since jarang orang pakai.  Why 12A and not 13B or 20B, hehehe because of availability, tight budget and also simplicity (Carbureted, no ECU!)

Just imagine hearing the rotary sound! Memang stim! They use to say you gotta have balls of steel to play with rotary engines…

I can’t make my mind now & probably I need to do more survey. I’ll probably drop by few workshops specialize in rotary engine just to give me more ideas. Bukan semua orang tau to play with rotary kan   I ‘ve got all the time I need to make up my mind….. zzzz…zzzz

Didie just got her iPhone last week. She took the white iPhone from Maxis KLCC. I think its cool, wish to have one but not this year, I’ll probably wait for their next generation or something Anyway, its just fun to use the phone (well, not for some people I know). One of the things I amazed was how the responsive the touch screen is compared to other phones. And they have like tons of wares like theres this one that could measure your vehicle real-time horsepower (its like an on-board dyno) hehehehe anywwayysssss been figgling around with Didie’s iPhone and love to have one…. maybe later-later lor.

Just bought the Guitar Hero: Metallica. Its just awesome to play their hits like Enter Sandman, Master of Puppets, One, Whenever I May Roam, For Whom the Bell Tolls, Sad but True and my favorite Nothing Else Matters. Of course they have other hit songs.  I haven’t play since last Guitar Hero: World Tour,  so need to practice back on those notes
